Recently, the Ministry of Transport released the "List of Typical Experiences in the Construction of a Powerful Transportation Country (First Batch)", and the "Jinghang Canal Intelligent Lock Project", undertaken by the Group's Beizi Institute, was successfully selected. The intelligent lock control system, featuring self-diagnostic fault location, control linkage, and operational safety sensing functions, will be promoted for industry-wide application as a typical example of strengthening technological innovation to create intelligent locks.
The Beizi Institute actively responded to the Ministry of Transport's "14th Five-Year Plan", undertaking the Jinghang Canal Subei section intelligent lock project. Focusing on the construction of the intelligent lock control system's software and hardware architecture, it has built an integrated intelligent monitoring platform for centralized control of locks, achieving unmanned operation at the lock site, remote centralized control, intelligent maintenance, and digital description of the lock operation process. This significantly improves the efficiency and safety of waterway and river basin shipping.
This intelligent lock control system has been promoted for application throughout the two major domestic waterway channels: the northern Jiangsu section of the Jinghang Canal and the Guangxi Xijiang River mainline. The Guangxi Xijiang River Basin lock centralized control intelligent monitoring platform has been selected as a typical case of scientific and technological innovation in Guangxi's transportation.
